LaundryTimer Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the LaundryTimer app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Zenufacture LLC (collectively, the "Application"). Zenufacture LLC is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Information Collection and Use
The Application is designed to work without asking you for personal information such as your name or email address. When you use the Application, an anonymous account is created for you so that your data can be saved and synced. The information associated with the Application includes:
- An anonymous account identifier automatically generated for you (not linked to your name, email, or phone number)
- The laundry data you create in the Application, such as routine, load, and cycle names and their timer settings
The Service Provider's backend provider may also process limited technical information (such as your Internet Protocol address and request timestamps) as a normal part of operating and securing the service. This information is used to deliver the Application's functionality, not to build advertising or marketing profiles.
Where Your Data Is Stored
The Application uses Supabase, a third-party backend and database provider, to store your anonymous account and the laundry data you create. Your data is held on Supabase's servers on the Service Provider's behalf. Supabase acts as a data processor and is not permitted to use your data for its own independent purposes.
Analytics and Tracking
The Application does not use third-party advertising networks, and does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers to track you across other apps or websites.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data held by the Service Provider. At any time you may delete your account and all associated data from the "Settings" menu within the Application. Alternatively, to exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at info@zenufacture.com.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected
- Delete personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights
The Service Provider does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at info@zenufacture.com.
Third Party Access
The Service Provider does not sell your data. Your data is shared only with the third-party service providers needed to operate the Application (such as the Supabase backend described above), who work on the Service Provider's behalf, do not have an independent use of the data disclosed to them, and are required to protect it.
The Service Provider may disclose information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process
- When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
- With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
- Your consent, where required and legally permitted
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop further collection of information by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from adding new data, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been stored. To remove your stored data, delete your account from the "Settings" menu or contact the Service Provider.
To request deletion of your data, to withdraw consent, or to exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider at info@zenufacture.com.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains your data only as long as needed to provide the Application:
- Account and laundry data: Retained while your account exists. When you delete your account, this data is permanently deleted from the Service Provider's systems.
- Technical/operational data: Limited technical logs held by the backend provider are retained only for a short period for security and operational purposes.
- Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the "Settings" menu. From the home page, click the "Gear" icon to open Settings, then at the bottom "Delete Account", then at the warning click "Delete". This permanently removes your account and all associated laundry data. Alternatively, you can request deletion by contacting the Service Provider at info@zenufacture.com. The Service Provider will process your request within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application without their permission. If you believe a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider, please contact them immediately. If you are under 13 years of age, your parent or guardian must provide consent on your behalf where permitted by law.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at info@zenufacture.com.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-07-01.
Your Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
